I am a PhD candidate in the Analysis and Interpretation of Biomedical Data Group (AID Group), Depertment of Cybernetics, Czech Technical University in Prague. Supervised by doc. Ing. Daniel Novák, Ph.D, my research now on Artificial Intelligence and Biocybernetics is supported by Research Center for Informatics (RCI), Brain Dynamics (EU and Czech National Grant) and Student Grants in Czech Technical University in Prague. After Studying the Neurosience knowledge from Prof. Yong Hu who is the Director of Neural Eng. & Clin Electrophysiology Laboratory in Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong. I visited the Knowledge Discovery and Machine Learning Lab, University of Leicester, where I was supervised by Prof. Yudong Zhang and Prof. Huiyu Zhou. Before that, I received the B.S. degree from Weifang University of Science and Technology. I am now included in two main projects: (1) Brain Computer Interface (BCI) Based Depression Detection System and (2) Psychotherapy Chatbot based on Large Language Models.

Classifying Depressive Severity by Using BCI

Depressive patients present the brain hyperactivity of Beta band in some specific areas under working memory tasks, and these findings can benefit the classifying and scoring of depressive symptoms using BCI. Bipolar disorders show the theta difference in some brain areas under facial emotional Stoop tasks, and these can make the classification accuracy increase.

Psychotherapy Chatbot based on Language Models

A set of therapeutical approaches aimed at fixing practical issues in a client’s life by identifying and overcoming cognitive distortions, replacing maladaptive patterns of thought with healthy alternatives, and preparing coping techniques for physiological and emotional reactions.
By delivering cognitive behavioural therapy text from Psychotherapy Chatbot, users get positive comments and feedback from Chatbot whose professional knowledge support itself to help users. A given therapy usually focuses on one specific problem the client is facing, like treating posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, bipolar disorder, or aiding in smoking cessation.
